First and foremost, the toddler in question did amazingly well, especially considering earlier in the week she had just flown to France from California and there was not much in the way of down time before we packed up and headed to Italy. Our second day of adventure started with a few chocolate croissants and coffee for the grownups as well as hot chocolate for the little one. The first lesson was learned quickly: avoid too much sugar for breakfast. That might be an obvious rule considering the chocolate on chocolate action, but we really didn’t see it coming, oh well…sugar rush and crash shortly there-after followed, at least we had a chance for a couple of cappuccinos.
