Clearly, this is a subjective topic. It’s easy to be convinced by the mountains of colorful gelato walking around Rome, but please be warned of this tourist trap. The best gelaterias in Rome are not these places. As my friend, Veruska, owner of DaRe Gelateria told me, those places use processed, artificial everything. I’m here to advocate for the few artisan gelatos places left, as it is a dying art.
